MRP Group is seeking an experienced SD-WAN Implementation Engineer on a contractual basis. The role involves designing, configuring, and managing SD-WAN solutions across global enterprise environments.

You will work closely with clients to deploy, maintain, and optimize SD-WAN infrastructure, focusing on reliability and performance. Responsibilities include build and run operations, day-to-day troubleshooting, and producing runbooks for Day 0–Day 2 activities.

Formación

• 5–10 years of proven networking experience with a focus on SD-WAN.
• Hands-on with Versa/ Fortinet SD-WAN and exposure to Cisco Viptela or similar.
• Strong knowledge of routing, MPLS, VPNs, and security integration.

We are looking for an experienced SD-WAN Implementation Engineer to join our team on a contractual basis. The role requires hands-on expertise in designing, configuring, and managing SD-WAN solutions such as Versa, Fortinet, and other leading platforms. The candidate will work closely with clients to deploy, maintain, and optimize SD-WAN infrastructure across global enterprise environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build, Run and Operate leading SDWAN solutions like Fortinet, Versa, Cisco etc.
• Prior experience in SDWAN SME roles.
• Configure, implement, and troubleshoot SD-WAN solutions (Versa, Fortinet, etc.) in enterprise environments.
• Experience with Implementing SDWAN logical builds (Head ends, Orchestrator) at DC and DMZ.
• Knowledge of Conducting comprehensive post-build checks, including end-to-end SDWAN functional & integration testing and checkpoint completions.
• Perform integration of SD-WAN with existing WAN, LAN, and security infrastructures.
• Perform Day 0, Day 1 and Day 2 activities and create runbooks for them
• Collaborate with client teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Monitor, manage, and optimize SD-WAN performance for reliability and scalability.
• Provide L3/L4 level support, root cause analysis, and incident resolution.
• Work on network migrations, upgrades, and new deployments.
• Document configuration standards, network diagrams, and operational procedures.
• Support multi-region deployments with a focus on Dallas and LATAM client sites.
• Collaborate with security and network operations teams to ensure compliance with policies and standards.
• Continuously monitor all SDWAN solution headend components, tracking alerts, alarms, KPIs, reliability, and resiliency metrics
• Project Management and Proficiency in building Project reports will be an added advantage.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 5–10 years of proven experience in networking with focus on SD-WAN technologies.
• Strong hands-on expertise with Versa SD-WAN, Fortinet SD-WAN, and exposure to other vendors (Cisco Viptela, Silver Peak, etc. preferred).
• Solid understanding of routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP), MPLS, VPNs, firewalls, and IPsec tunnels.
• Experience with WAN optimization, QoS, and traffic engineering.
• Knowledge of cloud connectivity (AWS, Azure, GCP) and hybrid network models.
• Strong troubleshooting skills across network layers (L2–L4).
• Excellent communication skills to work with global client teams.
• Expertise in building Technical Documentations and Project Management reports.
• Certifications preferred: SD-WAN vendor certifications (Versa/Fortinet/Cisco), CCNP/CCIE, NSE, or equivalent.
• Experience with Fortinet SDWAN is preferred and mandatory.
