Job summary

Bridgenext is seeking an experienced QA Engineer to test Salesforce applications, customizations, and integrations in a GxP environment. This role emphasizes manual functional testing, thorough documentation, and traceability across requirements and defects.

You will collaborate with Product Analysts, developers, and Quality stakeholders to meet testing standards. Salesforce testing experience is preferred; strong enterprise QA background with Salesforce knowledge will be considered.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software QA experience including manual testing of enterprise web applications.
• Experience working under GxP requirements, including documented execution, evidence, traceability, and review procedures.
• Strong requirements analysis, test design, risk-based coverage, negative testing, and defect management skills.
• Experience testing APIs and integrated workflows.
• Foundational Salesforce knowledge covering data models, security, user interfaces, and automation.
• Clear verbal and written English for stakeholder discussions and test documentation.
• Proficiency with Jira and a test management tool such as Xray, Qase, or TestRail.
• Postman or an equivalent API testing tool.
• Hands-on Salesforce testing experience and proficiency with Xray.

Responsibilities

• Analyze requirements and acceptance criteria, clarify ambiguities, and define risk-based coverage across business rules, permissions, negative scenarios, workflow transitions, integrations, and data persistence
• Develop and maintain reproducible manual test cases with explicit preconditions, controlled test data, clear actions, and objectively verifiable expected results
• Execute functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing across supported desktop, tablet, and Salesforce mobile experiences
• Validate Salesforce objects, fields, relationships, record types, layouts, actions, and user access, including functional behavior implemented through validation rules, Flows, and Apex
• Follow project GxP procedures for test preparation, review, approval, execution, and evidence management. Record accurate actual results and maintain traceability between requirements, tests, executions, defects, and evidence
• Report reproducible defects, support investigation with developers and Product Analysts, and document retesting and targeted regression results
• Address review feedback and communicate testing progress, coverage gaps, risks, dependencies, and blockers to support Quality review and release readiness

Position Description

We are seeking an experienced QA Engineer to test Salesforce applications, customizations, and integrations in a GxP environment. The role emphasizes manual functional testing, detailed documentation, execution evidence, and requirements traceability.

The successful candidate will collaborate with Product Analysts, developers, and Quality stakeholders to meet project testing and review standards. Salesforce testing experience is preferred; candidates with strong enterprise application QA experience and demonstrated Salesforce knowledge may also be considered. Automation contributions will depend on experience and project needs.

Workplace: This is a remote role open to candidates based in LATAM or India

Must Have Skills:

• 5+ years of software QA experience, including manual testing of enterprise web applications
• Experience working under GxP requirements, including documented execution, evidence, traceability, and review procedures
• Strong requirements analysis, test design, risk-based coverage, negative testing, and defect management skills
• Experience testing APIs and integrated workflows
• Foundational Salesforce knowledge covering data models, security, user interfaces, and automation
• Clear verbal and written English for stakeholder discussions and test documentation
• Strong attention to detail, analytical judgment, ownership, and timely escalation of issues
• Jira and a test management tool such as Xray, Qase, or TestRail
• Postman or an equivalent API testing tool
• Hands-on Salesforce testing experience and proficiency with Xray

Preferred Skills:

• SQL or SOQL for test data identification and verification
• Mobile application testing experience
• Familiarity with Copado Robotic Testing (CRT), Robot Framework, or equivalent automation tools
• Familiarity with Git
• Python or Java scripting, Selenium, and Jenkins or other CI/CD tools
• Salesforce Administrator, Platform App Builder, ISTQB, or other relevant QA certifications are a plus
• Salesforce training are also valued
