Job summary

PwC Argentina is seeking a Senior Associate in Risk & Independence to support enterprise risk management and personal independence matters within Internal Firm Services. You will review policies, interpret regulations, and guide teams while applying professional standards across complex scenarios.

In this role you will analyze risk, manage workstreams, mentor juniors, and collaborate with stakeholders to deliver dependable support in a changing environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of experience.
• Oral and written proficiency in English required.

Responsibilities

• Review personal independence matters and interpret firm policies, regulatory guidelines, and governance requirements.
• Analyze complex independence scenarios and document risk considerations, actions, and decisions.
• Interpret data from risk registers, reporting tools, and policy records to inform recommendations.
• Support development and maintenance of independence processes, controls, and documentation.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders to gather facts, clarify issues, and resolve independence concerns.
• Apply critical thinking to identify potential conflicts, control gaps, and process improvement opportunities.
• Mentor junior team members on independence procedures, documentation practices, and technical standards.
• Monitor changes in policies and regulatory guidance and translate updates into practical day-to-day actions.
• Understand the importance of responsible Information Management, including Information Security and Data Protection.
• Ensure correct Information Security Management practices

As a Risk & Independence - Personal Independence - Senior Associate you will support enterprise risk management work within our Internal Firm Services practice, focusing on personal independence matters, regulatory requirements, and the review of policies, controls, and related documentation. As a Senior Associate you will analyze complex situations, manage assigned workstreams, build meaningful relationships, and guide junior team members while using critical thinking to interpret data, review feedback, and support consistent application of professional standards.
