Resource Management and Technology Specialist

A career in Resourcing and Deployment, within Internal Firm Services, will provide you with the opportunity to work in cross line of service staffing. You will help our network be even more agile in the ever evolving markets we work with, providing the right people on the right projects at the right time. You’ll manage resource bookings with education, leaves, and single or multi-day jobs. You’ll also ensure the data accuracy of our scheduling system, TalentLink (Retain). In addition, we encourage the creative use of technology to find efficiencies in our reports and processes.

As a team, we maximize resource sharing and enable the delivery of PwC to our clients through line of service and cross line of service staffing, forecasting, utilization, and workload balance while considering development and diversity initiatives.

Purpose-led work you’ll be part of

As a Resource Management and Technology Specialist, you’ll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Staff resources to physical inventory observations (PIOs).
  • Maintain multiple trackers that support business needs.
  • Create and maintain KPI reporting.
  • Share and collaborate effectively with others.
  • Identify and make suggestions for improvements in our reports and processes.
  • Handle, manipulate and analyze data and information responsibly.
  • Follow risk management and compliance procedures.
  • Uphold the firm\'s code of ethics and business conduct.
Experiences and skills you’ll use
  • Experience with Alteryx, Microsoft Office, PowerBI, PowerQuery, data visualization and other similar tools is not a must but considered a strong asset.
  • Exceptional ability to prioritize, coordinate and manage multiple activities and projects occurring simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills to meet time sensitive and often changing deadlines and ability to complete complex tasks with limited supervision at times.
  • Ability to resolve staffing conflicts and know when to enforce policies and procedures.
  • Strong relationship building skills with experience engaging leaders at all levels and partnering with other HC teams.
  • Ability to translate business requirements/needs into suggested tools and technology.
  • A passion for client service and focused achievement of business results.
  • A demonstrated commitment to valuing differences and working alongside diverse people and perspectives.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English (both written & verbal). French is not required, but considered an asset.
