Cloud Accountant Staffing - Careers is seeking a U.S. Accountant contractor based in Latin America to own the monthly close, reconcile AP/AR, payroll, and produce plain-English reports for U.S.-based clients.

This is a full-time independent contractor position with exclusive commitment, remote work, and equipment provided. You will standardize checklists, drive process improvements, and collaborate with US-based teams across time zones while maintaining audit-ready files and accurate ledgers.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of US accounting/bookkeeping experience
• QuickBooks Online proficiency
• CPA or non-CPA welcomed
• Experience with US entities across time zones

Responsibilities

• Own the close and AP/AR, payroll, and reconciliations
• Deliver reporting with variance analysis
• Standardize checklists and SOPs
• Automation via rules and integrations
• Month-end close and journal entries
