Bluelight Consulting seeks a senior software architect to join our rapidly expanding team in Mendoza. Design end-to-end, low-latency architectures and mentor engineers across projects for diverse clients.

Ideal candidates have 8+ years in software development, strong AWS expertise, PostgreSQL/AuroraDB proficiency, and a track record of building secure, scalable systems end-to-end. Remote-friendly with US-hour overlap.

Formación

• 8+ years professional software development experience, with 3+ years in an architecture-focused role.
• Deep experience designing low-latency service architectures in AWS, including judgment about when distributed components earn their place.
• Experience designing to explicit latency budgets (p95/p99), including synchronous durable commits in hot paths.
• Experience designing audit/evidence systems: append-only event logs, versioned/ bitemporal models, and deterministic historical replay.
• Experience designing fail-open/fail-closed/degraded-state semantics and outage postures.
• Proven experience architecting secure multi-tenant environments with trade-off analysis.
• Deep experience with PostgreSQL/AuroraDB and Row-Level Security (RLS) at data-modeling/architecture level.
• Expertise in designing and building scalable RESTful APIs.
• Experience architecting SDK integrations to other services.
• Strong expertise in Node.js, TypeScript, and JavaScript across the stack.
• Experience building capacity models and cloud cost/performance projections (AWS Well-Architected).
• Experience establishing technical standards, architecture/code reviews, and mentoring teams.
• Experience producing architecture docs, ADRs, and diagrams.
• Experience defending architecture decisions in client reviews.
• Experience with AI coding assistants in daily development.
• Background architecting large, complex end-to-end systems.
• Ability to overlap US business hours.
