Bluelight Consulting is seeking a senior software architect to lead end-to-end system design and architecture across multiple client engagements. You will design low-latency architectures on AWS, ensure secure, scalable multi-tenant solutions, and mentor engineering teams while shaping technical direction.

You will collaborate with clients and internal teams to deliver high-quality, auditable systems, RESTful APIs, and robust data models using PostgreSQL/AuroraDB.

Formación

• 8+ years of professional software development experience, with 3+ years in architecture-focused roles.
• Deep experience designing low-latency service architectures in AWS and evaluating distributed components when appropriate.
• Experience designing to latency budgets (p95/p99) and durable commits in hot paths.
• Experience designing audit/evidence systems with event logs and versioned models.
• Experience with secure multi-tenant architectures and tradeoffs (RLS vs schema-per-tenant).
• Strong RESTful API design and SDK integration experience.
• Expertise across Node.js, TypeScript, and JavaScript.
• Experience with capacity planning and AWS Well-Architected framework.
• Ability to produce architecture docs, ADRs, and participate in reviews.
• Comfort presenting architecture decisions in client reviews.
