Job summary

Evox is seeking a Senior Video Editor for a fully remote role servicing North American universities. You will edit and optimize video content for ads, brand storytelling, and digital campaigns, collaborating with designers, copywriters, and strategists to ensure high-quality content for YouTube, social media, and paid media campaigns.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of agency/marketing video editing experience, strong storytelling skills, and advanced proficiency in Premiere Pro with knowledge

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional video editing experience, preferably in agencies or marketing teams.
• Advanced skills in Adobe Premiere Pro and working knowledge of After Effects, Final Cut Pro or DaVinci Resolve.
• Strong storytelling ability with pacing, audience engagement, and visual impact.
• Fluent English communication with US-based teams.

Responsibilities

• Edit and assemble video content for ads, social media, YouTube, and digital campaigns with strong storytelling.
• Enhance video quality through color correction, sound design, and smooth transitions.
• Integrate motion graphics and simple animations (text overlays, logo animations) to boost engagement.
• Optimize videos for different platforms with correct aspect ratios, pacing, subtitles, and thumbnails.
• Collaborate with designers, copywriters, and strategists to align visuals with marketing goals.
• Manage video files and assets with structured workflows and version control.
• Review edits and refine content based on internal and client feedback.
• Stay updated on new editing techniques and platform trends to improve effectiveness.
• Ensure timely delivery of final assets accounting for review steps.
