Job summary

IQVIA is seeking a Principal Stat Programmer for a 100% home-based role. The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in R and SAS, with solid CDISC ADaM/SDTM experience, and a proven track record delivering high-quality statistical programming outputs across clinical projects.

You will mentor junior programmers, drive process improvements, collaborate with global teams, and ensure compliance with industry standards and timelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Statistics, CS or related field.
• 2+ years on efficacy analysis (ADaM datasets & TLFs) and/or 4+ years ADaM programming on clinical trials.
• Hands-on proficiency in R (mandatory).
• Proficiency in SAS programming language.
• Advanced English (written and spoken).
• Native LATAM language required — Spanish or Portuguese.
• Ability to lead/manage others and mentor junior programmers.
• Strong judgment and data confidentiality in project work.

Responsibilities

• Develops and validates complex datasets and outputs using SAS programming with CDISC ADaM/SDTM standards.
• Collaborates with cross-functional teams to optimize programming processes and improve efficiency and accuracy.
• Provides technical guidance on statistical methodologies to support clinical trials.
