IQVIA is seeking a Principal Stat Programmer for a 100% home-based role. The candidate will ensure accuracy and integrity of statistical programming across clinical projects, with emphasis on R and SAS, and CDISC ADaM/SDTM standards.

The role involves developing/validating complex datasets, mentoring junior programmers, and driving process improvements within the programming department. Fluency in English and LATAM language is required.

Formación

  • Bachelor's Degree in Statistics, Computer Science or related field.
  • 2+ years working with efficacy analysis (ADaM datasets & TLFs) or 4+ years in ADaM statistical programming on clinical trials.
  • Hands-on proficiency in R programming language (mandatory).
  • Proficiency in SAS programming language.
  • Advanced English (written and spoken).
  • Native LATAM language required: Spanish or Portuguese.
  • Ability to lead/manage others and mentor junior programmers.
  • Ability to maintain confidential information and sensitive project data.
  • Good judgment in selecting statistical methods and programming techniques.
  • Strong time and resource management to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent project coordination and management skills.
  • Deep understanding of SAS programming and CDISC standards.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret financial data for programming decisions.

Job Overview

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree Statistics, Computer Science or related field.
  • 2 + years working with efficacy analysis (Adam datasets & TLF’s) and/or 4 + years on ADAM statistical programming on clinical trials.
  • Hands-on proficiency in R programming language (mandatory).
  • Proficiency in SAS programming language.
  • Advanced English (both written and spoken - tested during the interview process).
  • Native language is required - LATAM: Spanish or Portuguese.
  • Ability to lead/manage others. Capably leads and manages programming teams, ensuring adherence to standards and mentoring junior programmers.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain confidential information, sensitive project data and internal communications.
