Proofpoint is hiring a remote mobile developer to own an offline-first iOS/Android app from setup to public release. You’ll work with a lead and backend developer, review diffs, write tests, and handle sync, storage, and releases.

Expect two-week sprints, AI coding tools in daily use, and ownership over sign-in, storage, and app performance decisions. You bring 4+ years of mobile development with React Native, experience with offline-first patterns, and strong English communication for client

Competenze

• 4+ years building mobile applications with React Native.
• Apps released on App Store and Google Play.
• Offline-first architecture with local storage and sync.
• Experience using AI coding tools like Cursor or Claude Code.
• TypeScript plus automated tests and CI.
• Clear written and spoken English for client communication.
• Ability to work from written acceptance criteria.

Mansioni

• Set up Apple and Google developer accounts, signing, CI builds and testing tracks.
• Build local storage, write queue and retry logic for offline usage.
• Agree sync and upload APIs with backend and resolve conflicts.
• Implement phone-number sign-in with SMS codes and push fallback.
• Develop camera capture and e-signature flows with versioned records.
• Measure startup time, memory and app size on low-end Android devices.
• Handle store submissions, disclosures and monitoring for crashes/sync.
