EPAM Systems Inc is seeking a mobile developer to own an offline-first iOS/Android app from setup through public launch on the App Store and Google Play. You will work from a small team across bi-weekly sprints with AI coding tools aiding development.

You’ll review diffs, add tests, and decide on sync, storage and release strategies, ensuring successful sprints and live apps with robust monitoring.

Qualifikationen

• 4+ years building mobile applications, including React Native released on both App Store and Google Play.
• Offline-first work you built yourself: local storage, queued writes, retries and conflict handling.
• Performance tuning on low-end Android devices with measurable startup time/memory impact.
• Daily use of AI coding tools like Cursor/Claude Code on production work, with TypeScript and CI around it.
• Clear written and spoken English for PR descriptions, risk notes, and tradeoffs to a client team.
• Experience working from written acceptance criteria and the judgment to push back on a merge that misses them.

Aufgaben

• Set up Apple and Google developer accounts, signing, CI builds and testing tracks.
• Build local storage, write queue and retry logic to keep the app functional offline.
• Agree sync and upload APIs with the backend developer and resolve conflicts when edits collide.
• Build phone-number sign-in with SMS codes and push notifications with SMS fallback.
• Build camera capture and e-signature flows that version records.
• Measure startup time, memory and app size on low-end devices and optimize accordingly.
• Handle store submissions, privacy disclosures and reviews, and monitor crash/sync issues.
