RYZ Labs is seeking a Senior Geospatial Software Engineer to help build and evolve a platform that works with complex construction and location-based data.

This role combines strong software engineering with practical experience handling maps, coordinates, geometry, and geospatial information. You will transform information from documents into accurate geographic data that supports field operations.

Qualificações

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with TypeScript and Node.js.
• Experience with GIS, mapping, coordinates, geometry, or other geospatial data.
• Knowledge of GeoJSON, KML, GIS platforms, routing, and location-based applications.
• Ability to process incomplete, noisy, or ambiguous data.
• High emphasis on data accuracy and system correctness.
• Strong English communication skills.
• Experience in remote, distributed teams.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, and maintain production systems, contributing to architecture decisions.
• Build functionality around maps, coordinates, spatial relationships, and geometric data.
• Develop solutions to extract, process, and transform geometry from documents.
• Implement geographic measurements, distances, routing, asset locations, and related calculations.
• Translate geographic information into reliable data for visualization and field use.
• Handle imperfect data sources and clearly identify unreliable results.
• Contribute to code reviews, testing, CI, and observability.
• Improve reliability through monitoring and safe fail mechanisms.
• Take increasing ownership of architectural areas as the team grows.
