Job summary

Tether is seeking a highly skilled DevOps Specialist to architect, implement, and maintain end-to-end CI/CD pipelines using GitHub, with a focus on test-driven deployment and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).

The role includes automating build, tagging, and publication processes across web, desktop, and mobile platforms, plus strong Linux, networking, and containerization expertise to deliver scalable, secure deployments for a globally distributed team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience architecting and maintaining CI/CD pipelines at scale.
• Strong proficiency in test-driven deployment methodologies and automated testing.
• Expertise in Docker, image creation, and registry management.
• In-depth knowledge of CMake and native build/deployment pipelines.
• Advanced Linux administration, networking, and shell scripting.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, architecture, and management of CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions (and similar tools).
• Implement and enforce test-driven deployment systems with automated testing, validation, and monitoring.
• Containerize applications and microservices with Docker, optimize image builds, and manage deployment pipelines.
• Develop and maintain cross-platform build pipelines using CMake for web, desktop, and mobile.
• Automate end-to-end release processes, including tagging, building, signing, and distributing apps.
• Define and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to provision and maintain reliable, scalable, and secure environments.
• Collaborate with development, QA, and operations to troubleshoot deployment issues and improve reliability.
• Continuously improve observability and feedback loops with monitoring and alerting.
