AgileEngine is seeking a Sr. Full-Stack Software Engineer to contribute to an AI training project on software development, debugging, code evaluation, and problem-solving. The role is remote, contractor-based, and approximately 15 hours per week, offering flexible scheduling.

The position blends frontend and backend work across React, Rails, Node.js, Python, and related technologies. You’ll collaborate with product, data science, and design teams to turn wireframes into production features and

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience building web applications using Rails, Entity, Spring, or a similar MVC framework.
• 3+ years of experience working with SQL databases, ideally Postgres and RDS.
• 3+ years of experience using HTML and CSS, and styling for the web.
• 3+ years taking wireframes or mockups into features.
• Experience with agile development methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Develop and debug front-end and back-end applications.
• Build features, APIs, services, and data models.
• Understand and work across unfamiliar codebases.
• Troubleshoot application, API, database, and integration issues.
• Review and evaluate AI-generated code for correctness, security, performance, and maintainability.
• Translate and adapt software builds between programming languages.
