Job summary

Bechtel is seeking an Environmental Permits Manager in Argentina to obtain and maintain environmental and sectoral permits for mining and infrastructure projects. You will act as a bridge between engineering teams and regulatory authorities to ensure alignment with design, planning and field activities while maintaining regulatory commitments.

The role requires a strong background in electrical-related project environments, bilingual English/Spanish skills, and extensive site construction

Qualifications

Electrical engineering degree with 10 years in substation/line construction.
HV experience in mining projects.
Ability to learn applicable statutes and guidelines; attention to detail.
Bilingual English/Spanish proficiency preferred.

Responsibilities

Obtain, maintain and monitor environmental and sectoral permits for the Argentina project.
Serve as liaison between engineering and regulatory authorities and translate requirements into verifiable criteria.
Coordinate with project teams to ensure permit routing aligns with the schedule and regulatory commitments.
Support continuous improvement of the environmental and regulatory processes.
