Job summary

Darwoft seeks a Senior Frontend / UX Engineer to join a fast-growing LATAM fintech project. You will build and maintain a Digital Wallet frontend, turning UX designs into scalable, production-ready features in a remote, contractor setup.

You will leverage React/TS, Redux-like state management, and AI-assisted tools to deliver complete features across frontend and backend boundaries, ensuring performance and accessibility.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with React, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
• Experience building fintech applications, digital wallets, or payment platforms.
• Solid understanding of UX principles and usability.
• Proven track record of building polished, production-ready user interfaces.
• Experience turning UX designs into working applications.
• Experience with AI-assisted coding tools and efficient workflows.
• Ability to deliver complete features across frontend and backend boundaries.
• Experience with REST APIs and BFF architectures.
• Knowledge of frontend architecture and reusable components.
• Experience in Agile environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality user interfaces for a Digital Wallet.
• Translate UX/UI designs and product requirements into functional applications.
• Collaborate with product and design teams to improve user journeys and usability.
• Own features end to end, from requirements to delivery.
• Use AI-powered tools to speed frontend and full-stack development.
• Build and maintain BFF services that support application needs.
• Ensure performance, accessibility, and maintainability.
• Participate in code reviews and improve development practices.
• Find ways to simplify development workflows with AI.
