Job summary

Darwoft is seeking a Senior Frontend / UX Engineer to join our LATAM remote team, building a fintech Digital Wallet platform with AI-assisted tooling.

You will design, develop, and maintain high-quality user interfaces using React, JavaScript, and TypeScript, translate UX designs into production features, and own end-to-end delivery while collaborating across product and design teams in an Agile environment.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with React, JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Experience building fintech applications and digital wallets.
• Solid understanding of UX principles and user-centered development.
• Ability to translate UX/UI designs into functional frontend features.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted coding tools to accelerate development.
• Experience with REST APIs and BFF architectures.
• Experience delivering features across frontend and backend boundaries.
• Comfort working in an Agile environment and communicating across teams.
• Proactive, independent execution and code quality.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality user interfaces for a Digital Wallet.
• Translate UX/UI designs into functional, responsive applications.
• Collaborate with product and design teams to improve user journeys and usability.
• Own features end to end from requirements through delivery.
• Use AI-assisted tools to speed up frontend and full-stack development.
• Build and maintain BFF services to support application requirements.
• Implement API integrations and supporting backend functionality as needed.
• Ensure performance, accessibility, and maintainability across the app.
• Participate in code reviews and improve development practices.
• Simplify development workflows with AI-assisted engineering.
