Job summary

Darwoft is seeking a Senior Data Engineer focused on data ingestion, connectors, and collectors to serve enterprise customers remotely in LATAM. You’ll bridge customers and engineering, designing scalable ingestion mechanisms and ensuring reliability, security, and fast time-to-production.

You will collaborate with customers to map data sources, architectures, and workflows, building robust backend services using Python and Go while working with cloud platforms and modern containerized

Qualifications

• 10+ years of professional software/data engineering experience.
• Strong software development with Python and Go.
• Experience designing and consuming REST APIs.
• Hands-on data ingestion pipelines and integration platforms.
• Experience with cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Proficiency in SQL and NoSQL databases.
• CI/CD practices and Git workflows.
• Ability to translate customer requirements into technical solutions.
• Strong communication and customer-facing skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain data collectors, connectors, and ingestion services.
• Integrate enterprise data sources including identity providers, cloud platforms, SASE, and SIEM systems.
• Collaborate with customers to understand environments, data flows, APIs, and security requirements.
• Develop scalable ingestion architectures for high-volume data like security events and logs.
• Build integrations using REST APIs, cloud-native services, event-driven architectures, and modern SDLC practices.
• Develop backend services with Python and/or Go and work with SQL/NoSQL databases.
• Operate containerized services with Docker and Kubernetes and deploy across AWS, Azure, GCP.
• Troubleshoot deployments across APIs, infrastructure, networking, and data layers.
• Contribute to product roadmap with insights from real-world implementations.
