Job summary

Darwoft is seeking a Senior Data Engineer focused on data ingestion, integrations, and collectors for a LATAM remote engagement. You will work directly with enterprise customers to design scalable ingestion pipelines, connectors, and backend services using Python/Go, Docker, and Kubernetes across cloud environments.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure reliability, security, and fast production time-to-value, while shaping the product with customer feedback.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of professional Software/Data/Platform Engineering experience.
• Proficient in Python and Go with strong REST API design skills.
• Experience building data ingestion pipelines and integration platforms.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain data collectors, connectors, and ingestion services.
• Integrate enterprise data sources including identity providers and cloud platforms.
• Collaborate with customers to understand environments and integration constraints.
• Onboard customers from discovery to production deployment.
• Design scalable ingestion architectures for high-volume data like security events and logs.
• Build integrations using REST APIs, cloud-native services, and event-driven patterns.
• Develop backend services primarily with Python and Go.
• Work with SQL and NoSQL databases for storage and queries.
• Operate containerized services using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Deploy and integrate solutions across AWS, Azure, and GCP.
