FullStack is hiring a Senior Backend Engineer to work with U.S. clients on flexible, project-based development. You will join client teams and partner with designers and engineers to deliver robust backends using Laravel, PHP, and Go microservices.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional backend software engineering experience.
• Advanced English is required.
• A four-year college degree is required.
• Experience developing, deploying, and maintaining core monolithic backends with Laravel and PHP.
• Experience extracting monolithic logic and rewriting into Go microservices.
• Ability to scale backend infrastructure for high-traffic launches and high concurrency.
• Experience with on-call engineering rotation and strict SLAs.

Responsibilities

• Join directly with client teams and collaborate with designers and engineers daily.
• Develop and maintain backend services using Laravel, PHP, and Go microservices.
• Ensure reliable CI/CD pipelines and automated deployments.
• Scale systems to support high-traffic product launches and concurrency.
• Adopt Agile/Scrum practices and own key components end-to-end.
