Job summary

Bluelight Consulting Llc is seeking an UX Analyst (Product Workflows) for Field Operations SaaS. The role focuses on designing how work moves through the product, from field capture to review, ensuring robust flows and clear handoffs between mobile and web—no visual polish, pure process design.

You’ll collaborate with a second designer focused on visuals and own the flow side. You’ll report to the Head of Engineering and your designs will be built into the product, not left in a backlog.

Qualifications

• Candidate demonstrates ability to design complex, multi-step workflows for B2B SaaS or field tools.
• Portfolio should show end-to-end flow mapping from problem to logic to final implementation.
• Strong systems thinking: account for states, branches, errors and edge cases.
• Ability to write clear flow documentation and specs for engineers.

Responsibilities

• Map property management workflows end to end from field capture to review and report.
• Interview stakeholders in a workflow and redesign with fewer steps.
• Write the logic, branches and edge cases behind each flow for engineering.
• Design offline and retry states so users see progress when signal drops.
• Prototype in Figma and validate with quick usability tests.
• Annotate specs with states, rules and microcopy for build.
