Job summary

Tether is seeking a Mobile Engineer with deep React Native experience to build Keet Mobile for iOS and Android, leveraging Expo and a peer-to-peer runtime to deliver fast, reliable experiences.

You will own features end-to-end—from UI/UX implementation to integrating the P2P core—while collaborating with a global remote team, optimizing performance, and contributing to tests, CI, and release stability.

Qualifications

• Significant experience with React Native, Redux and Redux-Saga.
• Experience with WebSockets and RESTful APIs.
• Knowledge of Swift/Kotlin and native build tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Build and polish features across chat, voice and video calls
• Integrate native platform capabilities such as push notifications
• Profile and optimise performance on real devices
• Write unit and end-to-end tests, CI and crash reporting
• Work closely with core P2P, design and product teams
