Job summary

Tether is seeking an Automation QA Engineer with strong automation skills and hands-on manual testing for desktop and mobile apps. This role focuses on building and maintaining automated test suites for critical user flows across desktop and mobile platforms.

You will integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines, investigate failures, and work with developers to improve testability and acceptance criteria. Remote, international candidates welcome.

Qualifications

4+ years in QA automation with hands-on manual and exploratory testing.
Experience running tests in CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions).
Hands-on experience with Playwright for desktop or web, and WebdriverIO + Appium for mobile.
Experience testing Electron and/or React Native apps, including on real devices.

Responsibilities

Build and maintain desktop and mobile test automation for critical user flows.
Integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines and keep them fast and reliable.
Investigate failures, fix flaky tests, and manage test data and environments.
Report clear, reproducible bugs and verify fixes.
Work with developers and product on testability and acceptance criteria.
Perform hands-on functional, exploratory, and regression testing of new features.
Choose manual or automated coverage based on risk; maintain regression suites.
