Job summary

Tether is seeking an Automation QA Engineer with strong automation skills who also takes ownership of manual testing for our desktop and mobile applications.

Build and maintain test automation, integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines, and ensure fast, reliable validation across platforms. You will work with developers and product teams to improve testability and acceptance criteria, while applying AI-assisted QA practices.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in QA automation and manual testing.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions).
• Experience with Playwright for desktop/web and WebdriverIO/Appium for mobile.
• Experience testing Electron or React Native apps (iOS/Android).
• Experience using AI tools in QA.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain desktop and mobile test automation for critical user flows.
• Integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines and keep them fast and reliable.
• Investigate failures, fix flaky tests, manage test data.
• Report clear, reproducible bugs and verify fixes.
• Work with developers and product on testability and acceptance criteria.
• Perform hands-on functional, exploratory, and regression testing.
• Choose manual or automated coverage based on risk; maintain regression suites.
• Utilize GitHub to maintain automation repositories, run custom scripts.
• Participate in On-Call rotation.
