Job summary

OpenFn is seeking a remote, relationship-driven Program Manager to own and grow a portfolio of existing subscription customers in the Americas time zones. You will talk credibly about our platform, integrations, and data workflows with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to maximize value.

As the first Program Manager in this market, you will establish playbooks, own retention and expansions, and build the program management function from day one, collaborating with solution architects

Qualifications

• 3-7+ years in account management, customer success, or a related customer-facing commercial role at a SaaS or subscription business.
• Proven track record of retaining and growing a portfolio, including renewals, forecasting, and upsell/expansion.
• Experience managing customers for a technically substantive product with the ability to get up to speed on how it works.
• Fluent English and Spanish, with strong communication across distributed teams.
• Self-starter mindset suited to foundational role with ability to work from home with stable internet.

Responsibilities

• Own gross and net retention for your portfolio and be accountable for renewals.
• Forecast renewals accurately and manage end-to-end renewal process.
• Proactively identify at-risk accounts and lead recovery plans before churn.
• Identify and pursue opportunities to grow accounts, including upsell and cross-sell of services.
• Negotiate renewals and expansions in line with pricing and packaging model.
• Ensure smooth handoff from sales and implementation into ongoing program management.
• Monitor product usage and adoption to deepen engagement.
• Channel customer feedback to product and services teams.
• Coordinate with support and implementation to meet SLA commitments and deliver project-based work.
• Build and scale the program management function with playbooks and cadences.
