Job summary

Alignerr is seeking offensive security professionals to analyze real-world attack paths and adversary behavior to shape how AI understands cybersecurity threats. The role focuses on structured adversarial reasoning and does not require an AI background.

You will operate remotely on a freelance, task-based basis, with 10–40 hours per week. Prior experience in pentesting, red teaming, or blue-team roles will be valuable in mapping multi-stage intrusion scenarios and communicating findings clearly.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on pentesting, red teaming, or blue-team work with strong offensive knowledge.
• Ability to map attacker decision-making across multi-stage intrusion scenarios.
• Strong written communicator capable of explaining technical attack paths clearly.

Responsibilities

• Analyze attack paths, kill chains, and adversary strategies across realistic environments.
• Identify weaknesses and defensive gaps in modeled systems.
• Review red-team scenarios and intrusion narratives for accuracy and completeness.
• Generate and validate adversarial reasoning data for AI training and benchmarking.
• Communicate attack chains, impact, and risk tradeoffs clearly in structured formats.
• Work independently on task-based assignments with flexible scheduling.
