Qualifications

• Background in cybersecurity, application security, or a closely related field.
• Solid understanding of modern threat modeling — and genuine curiosity about how it applies to AI systems.
• Familiar with adversarial thinking: you naturally look for what could go wrong and how it could be exploited.
• Analytical and precise when evaluating complex systems and potential failure modes.
• Clear written communicator who can document findings in structured, actionable formats.
• Self-motivated and reliable when working independently.

Responsibilities

• Analyze AI and LLM security scenarios to understand how models behave under adversarial or unexpected conditions.
• Review and evaluate cases involving prompt injection, data leakage, model abuse, and system misuse.
• Classify security issues and recommend appropriate mitigations based on real-world impact and likelihood.
• Help evaluate and improve AI system behavior so it remains safe, reliable, and aligned with security best practices.
• Work with realistic scenarios drawn directly from frontier AI development and deployment.
• Complete task-based assignments independently on your own schedule.

• Experience evaluating software or systems for edge-case behavior and unexpected outputs
