Prometeo Talent is partnering with a U.S.-based company to recruit a Data Analyst (Machine Learning) for a 100% remote role serving LATAM teams. You will leverage SQL and Python to transform large consumer/retail datasets into actionable metrics and present results in English to stakeholders.

Open to recent graduates through mid-level analysts who bring strong quantitative backgrounds, a numbers‑oriented mindset, and meticulous attention to detail for data-driven decision making.

Formación

• 0 to 4 years of experience in Data Analysis, Business Analytics, or similar roles; entry-level to mid-level considered.
• Advanced English (written and spoken).
• Foundational to intermediate SQL skills, including complex JOIN logic, aggregations, and CASE WHEN.
• Python scripting for data cleaning and processing, with proficiency in pandas.
• Familiarity with modeling libraries such as scikit-learn or statsmodels.
• Experience with messy text fields and data normalization is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Write, optimize, and execute SQL queries to extract data from relational databases and cloud data warehouses.
• Develop, run, and validate machine learning or statistical models to uncover consumer behaviors and forecast trends.
• Slice, unpivot, and aggregate transactional data to compute core metrics like market share and trends.
• Build and maintain clean data tables and views feeding dashboards and reports.
• Review query outputs, perform data audits, and ensure data integrity before insights.
• Segment data using conditional logic to isolate cohorts.
• Parse and categorize unstructured text data.
• Translate technical results into clear summaries for English-speaking stakeholders.
