Prometeo Talent is partnering with a U.S.-based company to hire a Data Analyst (Machine Learning) for a 100% remote LATAM role. You'll work on large consumer and retail datasets, transforming data into actionable metrics and stakeholder-ready summaries in English.

The ideal candidate blends strong SQL and Python skills with a numbers-driven mindset, attention to detail, and the ability to translate complex results into clear narratives. Open to recent grads and mid-level analysts alike.

Formación

• 0 to 4 years of experience in Data Analysis, Business Analytics, or similar roles; entry-level welcome.
• Advanced English level (written and spoken).
• Foundational to intermediate SQL skills, including complex JOINs, aggregations, and CASE WHEN.
• Python scripting for data cleaning, manipulation, and processing, with pandas proficiency.
• Familiarity with modeling libraries such as scikit-learn or statsmodels to build/predict models.
• Experience working with messy text fields: cleaning, parsing, pattern matching in strings.
• Solid understanding of relational database design, keys, and data normalization.
• Bachelor's or related field with coursework in database management or quantitative data analysis.

Responsabilidades

• Write, optimize, and execute SQL queries to extract data from databases and cloud warehouses.
• Develop, run, and validate ML, predictive, or statistical matching models.
• Slice and aggregate raw data to calculate core business metrics like market share and trends.
• Build and maintain clean data tables and views for recurring reports and dashboards.
• Review outputs, perform data audits, and ensure accuracy before insights.
• Segment data using conditional logic to isolate cohorts.
• Clean, parse, and categorize unstructured text data.
• Translate technical results into clear summaries for English-speaking stakeholders.
