Prometeo Talent is seeking a Data Analyst (Machine Learning) for a US-based client, offering 100% remote work across LATAM. The role focuses on large consumer/retail datasets, turning raw data into actionable metrics and dashboards for stakeholders.

Ideal candidates have strong SQL and Python skills, experience with pandas, and the ability to present technical results in English. Open to recent graduates or mid-level analysts seeking to deepen data manipulation skills.

Formación

• 0 to 4 years of experience in Data Analysis or similar roles; entry-level welcome with coursework or internships.
• Advanced English level (written and spoken).
• Foundational to intermediate SQL skills with joins, aggregations and CASE WHEN.
• Python scripting for data cleaning and processing, with pandas proficiency.
• Familiarity with modeling libraries such as scikit-learn or statsmodels.
• Experience with messy text fields: cleaning, parsing, and pattern matching.
• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field with database coursework.

Responsabilidades

• Write, optimize, and execute SQL queries to extract data from relational databases and cloud data warehouses.
• Develop, run, and validate ML, predictive, or statistical models to uncover insights and forecast trends.
• Slice and aggregate data to calculate core metrics like household penetration, market share, and purchasing trends.
• Build and maintain clean data tables and views feeding dashboards and reports.
• Review outputs, perform data audits, and ensure data integrity before insights are shared.
• Use conditional logic to segment data and isolate tracking cohorts.
• Clean, parse, and categorize unstructured or semi-structured text data.
• Translate technical results into clear summaries for stakeholders in English.
