Freedom Health Systems, Inc. seeks a Medical Biller & Coder 4 (Team B) for a fully remote Argentina-based engagement. This independent contractor role focuses on end-to-end revenue cycle activities for outpatient mental health center clients.

You will translate clinical documentation into accurate codes, enter charges, submit claims, and resolve denials while collaborating with the Team Lead and Accounts Receivables. Strong US billing knowledge required.

Formación

• Minimum 2–4 years of U.S. medical billing and coding experience.
• Outpatient mental health or behavioral health billing experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of CPT, ICD-10-CM, and basic HCPCS coding.
• Familiarity with U.S. insurance, Medicaid, and managed care billing processes.
• Professional coding certifications (CPC or equivalent) preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Review clinical documentation to confirm required elements before billing.
• Assign accurate CPT, ICD-10-CM, and HCPCS codes.
• Enter charges into the billing system.
• Submit claims timely and per payer requirements.
• Verify patient demographics and payer details prior to submission.
• Identify and correct claim rejections and data entry issues.
• Support denial resolution and ensure all services are billed.
• Maintain audit-ready billing records.
• Follow Team Lead workflow and quality standards.
