Job summary

Muttdata is a remote-first data products and ML startup seeking a Martech Specialist to own the MarTech stack and activation layer for multiple clients. You will design, implement and optimize CDPs (packaged and composable), identity resolution, and reverse ETL, while collaborating with data engineers and ML experts to link data to campaigns.

You will drive proposals, scope projects, and shape offerings, leveraging tools like Adobe Real-Time CDP, Salesforce Data Cloud, Hightouch, Braze, and

Qualifications

• 5+ years in MarTech or customer data consulting roles.
• Hands-on depth in at least one packaged CDP, a composable CDP or reverse ETL tool, and an activation platform.
• Solid data fundamentals: SQL, data modeling, identity resolution, event schemas and APIs.
• Production experience at scale with multi-channel data and privacy/compliance (GDPR/CCPA).
• Strong client-facing communication; ability to explain trade-offs to CMOs/CTOs and document work in writing.

Responsibilities

• Design the stack: choose between packaged CDPs, composable CDPs and lakehouse approaches, and explain trade-offs.
• Build it: configure/integrate CDPs (Adobe Real-Time CDP, Salesforce Data Cloud), composable tools (Hightouch, Census, Amperity) and activation platforms (Braze, Klaviyo).
• Set up identity resolution, audiences, consent, event tracking and reverse ETL.
• Connect data foundation to activation: collaborate with data engineers/ML experts to model customer data in Databricks or cloud warehouses.
• Run at scale: define production operation, data quality, cost control and governance.
