Job summary

Abstra is seeking a Remote Project Coordinator to support the domestic Project Management team, overseeing administrative, documentation, and scheduling life cycle of assigned projects. The role requires collaboration with project managers to meet objectives on time, within budget and standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in project coordination, administration, or construction/trade industry.
• Proficiency in Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, Buildertrend, and project management software (Procore, BIM360, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Attend virtual pre-bid and project meetings to take notes and provide administrative support.
• Review project documentation within 48 hours of sale to outline scope and administrative requirements.
• Draft agendas for Pre-Construction meetings to ensure smooth coordination and communication.
• Submit all necessary project documents on time and track their progress through approval pipelines.
• Prepare and distribute a comprehensive Job Foreman Packet before Pre-Construction meetings.
• Coordinate the administrative process of securing permits, insurance certificates, and bonds ahead of the project start date.
• Update project schedules weekly within the project management software.
• Draft prompt communications for customers and general contractors to address issues within 24 hours.
