Job summary

Glacier is seeking a talented software engineer to join a 3-person LATAM Fleet SWE team in a fully remote role for South America-based candidates. You will troubleshoot, analyze root causes, and resolve issues while building tooling to support a growing fleet of robotics devices.

You must have 3+ years in hardware/robotics, 3+ years Python/Ubuntu/Linux/Git, and 2+ years of CLI experience, plus English proficiency to work with US-based teams.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of work on hardware or robotics projects or products.
• 3+ years of work with Python, Ubuntu/Linux, Git.
• 2+ years working through the command line for local and remote systems.
• English fluency (B2+ required) to collaborate with US-based teams.

Responsibilities

• Respond to alerts and issues; be the primary software responder for field service.
• Monitor and tune deployed devices to maximize robot impact.
• Support deployment of new devices to the growing fleet.
• Build tooling to enable the field service team to handle more issues quickly.
