Job summary

Tether is seeking a Junior Project Manager to help coordinate the Keet engine team's work across sprints and releases, partnering with globally distributed engineers. You’ll turn priorities into clear plans and ensure nothing falls through the cracks between releases in a deeply technical, open‑source environment.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of project coordination experience, excellent written English, and a high degree of organization.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in project coordination, project management, or a similar role.
• Excellent written English communication.
• Highly organized, with strong attention to detail and follow-through.
• Experience with issue trackers and project tools (e.g. GitHub Issues/Projects, Jira, Linear).
• Self-starter who thrives in a fully remote, async‑first team.

Responsibilities

• Track engine work across sprints and releases, keeping issues, milestones, and roadmaps current
• Run or support stand‑ups, planning sessions, and retrospectives across time zones (mostly async)
• Coordinate between the engine team, Keet app/UI developers, and QA so dependencies are visible early
• Write clear status updates, release notes, and meeting summaries
• Help triage bug reports and user feedback, and route them to the right engineers
• Spot risks and blockers early and help the team resolve them
• Keep internal documentation and processes tidy and easy to follow
