Job summary

Outlier is building a remote program where LatAm software engineers use their coding skills to train AI models. You will review AI-generated code, rate and rank model responses, and write clear computer science prompts.

This is a freelance 1099 contract with flexible work from anywhere. Rates pay up to 34 USD/hr, with potential incentives; applicants from Argentina and other Latin American countries are welcome.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science from a selective institution.
• Software engineering experience contributing to a live production codebase.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
• Excellent attention to detail in grammar, punctuation, and style.

Responsibilities

• Review AI-generated code: flag errors and quality issues using guidelines.
• Rate and rank model responses across key dimensions (accuracy, instruction following, presentation).
• Write computer science questions: develop clear prompts to challenge AI models.
