Job summary

Virtustant is seeking a Mid-Level Full-Stack Developer to build and refine features across the frontend, API, and deployment pipelines. You will work with a senior developer, deliver well-tested features, and leverage AI daily to accelerate development while ensuring production-ready code.

You will gain exposure to manufacturing software, ERP/MES concepts, and DevOps practices, with a focus on secure coding, code reviews, and scalable architectures in a remote team.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of professional full-stack development experience.
• Strong Angular/TypeScript front-end with responsive design.
• Experience building REST APIs and relational data models (SQL).
• Manufacturing ERP/MES or shop-floor exposure.
• DevOps: Git, CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Linux; virtualization/cloud hosting.
• Regular use of AI tools (Claude) for development; fix AI output.
• Experience writing automated tests.
• Knowledge of authentication, input validation, and RBAC.
• Clear communication; works well in a small remote team.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain features for quoting, sales orders, work orders, inventory, receiving, parts, certifications, and accounting.
• Develop Angular screens and components, including mobile-friendly views.
• Add and extend REST API endpoints and database queries.
• Build and refine dashboard widgets for management and shop floor displays.
• Support integrations with barcode scanners, terminals, and accounting tools.
• Fix bugs and handle customer support tickets.
• Work in and help maintain CI/CD pipelines, containers, and test environments.
• Help package and deploy releases.
• Write and maintain automated tests for unit, component, end-to-end, and load testing.
• Help with monitoring, logging, and troubleshooting production issues.
• Follow secure coding practices and implement access control and audit logging.
• Use AI daily for coding, testing, debugging, and documentation.
• Review and improve AI-generated code for production readiness.
• Turn quick AI prototypes into clean, tested production code.
• Improve team practices for using AI in development.
• Take part in code reviews, giving and receiving feedback.
• Work with the senior developer and users to understand requirements and test features.
