FullStack is seeking an experienced Elixir Backend Engineer to join our talent network for flexible, project-based development work with U.S. clients. You will integrate directly into client teams and collaborate with designers and engineers daily to deliver robust backend services.

Required 4+ years of production Elixir/Phoenix experience, Advanced English, and a four-year degree. You should have strong API design, SQL/PostgreSQL, and CI/CD expertise, plus Docker and modern remote workflows.

Formación

• 4+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Proven Elixir and Phoenix production experience.
• Advanced English is required.
• Successful completion of a four-year college degree is required.
• Expertise in Elixir, particularly in robust API design and implementation.
• Solid background in building and maintaining backend services powering mobile applications (React Native).
• Deep experience in relational databases using SQL, PostgreSQL, and Ecto.
• Proven experience in third-party API integrations and software connectivity.
• Experience with legacy systems while improving code reliability and maintainability.
• Strong history of automated testing practices to ensure code quality.
• Familiarity with containerization tools such as Docker and modern CI/CD workflows.
• Comfortable working with AI-assisted development tools and remote dev environments (e.g., GitHub Codespaces).
• Demonstrated experience in eCommerce systems, powersports, or multi-tenant platforms is a strong plus.
• Ability to work through new and difficult issues and contribute to libraries as needed.
• Ability to create and maintain continuous integration and delivery of applications.
• Forensic attention to detail.
• A positive mindset and a can-do attitude.
• Experience working on Agile/Scrum teams.
• Meaningful experience working on large, complex systems.
• Ability to take extreme ownership over your work.
