Job summary

ENG is seeking a highly technical Electrical QA/QC Lead to support our BIM/VDC team and ensure the quality and technical compliance of electrical deliverables for U.S.-based projects. The role focuses on reviewing shop drawings, submittals, BIM content, and models to ensure accuracy and coordination with U.S. electrical standards.

The ideal candidate has NEC knowledge, experience with U.S. projects, and strong QA/QC capabilities, with remote work options for LATAM-based talent.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
Experience with electrical systems and construction documentation.
Experience with U.S.-based construction projects.
Knowledge of NEC and U.S. electrical standards/codes.
Experience reviewing electrical shop drawings, submittals, and technical documentation.

Responsibilities

Review electrical shop drawings, submittals, and technical documentation for accuracy and compliance.
Review electrical BIM models and verify model content is updated based on approved submittals.
Review and validate Revit families and electrical BIM content for consistency and accuracy.
Identify discrepancies between submittals, documentation, and BIM models.
Ensure electrical deliverables align with U.S. standards, codes, and NEC requirements.
Perform QC reviews of electrical BIM deliverables before final submission.
Communicate QA/QC findings to the BIM/VDC team and coordinate corrections.
