AgileEngine is seeking a Database Administrator in Córdoba, Argentina, for a hands-on role focused on database administration, performance, security, and reliability. The role requires 3–4 years of DBA experience with Microsoft SQL Server, Aurora PostgreSQL, and AWS RDS/Aurora, plus PowerShell or Python and Terraform.

You will work closely with engineering teams in a demanding, highly technical environment.

Qualifications

• 3–4 years hands-on DBA experience.
• Experience with Microsoft SQL Server and Aurora PostgreSQL.
• Experience with AWS, especially RDS and Aurora.
• PowerShell or Python programming.
• Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform.
• Kafka (Confluent Kafka) administration and troubleshooting.
• Performance analysis and tuning.

Responsabilités

• Maintain high availability of production database systems and ensure strong performance.
• Plan and execute disaster recovery with zero data loss.
• Keep database systems secure, including access control and security protocols.
• Analyze and tune database performance and diagnose complex issues.
• Collaborate with engineers on design, performance, and support.
• Hands-on operation in a highly technical environment supporting web services.
• Stay composed under pressure in stressful situations.
