BairesDev is hiring a Database Engineer (Ops) to administer and optimize production-grade database environments for enterprise-scale applications. You will ensure system stability, reliability, and peak performance across critical data systems.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in DBA/Operations roles, with expertise in SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, or MySQL, and strong English communication. This is a 100% remote opportunity with flexible hours and global collaboration.

Formación

• 5+ years of experience in Database Administration, Operations, or Systems Engineering.
• Proficiency in operating and tuning production databases such as SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.
• Experience with T-SQL or PL/SQL for performance tuning and database optimization.
• Hands-on experience with backup strategies, replication, and HA/DR solutions.
• Strong understanding of database maintenance and lifecycle management in enterprise environments.
• Advanced proficiency in English.

Responsabilidades

• Manage and maintain production databases to ensure high availability and uptime.
• Implement and govern data replication and backup strategies to guarantee data integrity and disaster recovery readiness.
• Monitor and tune database performance, optimizing complex queries for maximum efficiency.
• Design maintenance plans including index management and lifecycle tasks in mission-critical environments.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to define database standards and provide technical support for platform health.
