Job summary

Prometeo Talent, a recruitment partner for a U.S.-based company, seeks a Data Analyst (Machine Learning) for a 100% remote LATAM role. You will write SQL, build ML models, and translate data into clear business insights for stakeholders in English.

The ideal candidate ranges from recent graduates to mid‑level analysts with solid Python and analytics skills, experience with large consumer datasets, and comfort working with cross‑functional teams across time zones.

Qualifications

• 0 to 4 years in Data Analysis, Business Analytics, or similar roles; entry-levels welcome with coursework or internships.
• Advanced English (written and spoken).
• Foundational to intermediate SQL with joins, aggregations, and CASE WHEN.
• Python for data cleaning, manipulation, and processing with pandas.
• Familiarity with scikit-learn or statsmodels for ML or predictive models.
• Experience handling messy text data and relational database design basics.
• Bachelor’s in a related field with quantitative coursework.

Responsibilities

• Write, optimize, and execute SQL queries to extract data from relational databases and cloud warehouses.
• Develop and validate ML, predictive, or statistical models to forecast trends.
• Slice and aggregate data to compute metrics like market share and purchasing trends.
• Build and maintain clean data tables and dashboards for stakeholders.
• Audit data outputs and ensure data integrity before insights.
• Translate technical results into clear summaries for English-speaking stakeholders.
