Job summary

Fletcher Jones is seeking a Data Migration Lead to guide a global data migration program for a major automotive client. You will manage end-to-end migration planning, coordinate cross-functional teams, and define controls to ensure a reliable transition to the target ERP system.

The role requires strong data migration expertise and fluent English communication for interviews and daily work in UTC-aligned hours.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading large-scale data migration programs.
• Strong ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and manage risks.
• Experience with ERP migration projects (e.g., SAP S/4HANA) preferred.
• Excellent written and spoken English for interviews and daily work.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end data migration planning and execution across workstreams.
• Ensure data accuracy, completeness, and readiness for the target system.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams and drive migration controls and quality.
• Define migration approach, methodology, and risk mitigation strategies.
• Identify, assess, and manage migration risks and issues.
• Report migration status to senior stakeholders and ensure smooth cutover.

About the Role

Join the team supporting one of the world's largest automotive manufacturers, working within a global consulting firm to lead the planning and execution of a critical data migration program. You will coordinate cross-functional teams, define the migration approach and controls, and manage risks to ensure a smooth and reliable transition to the target system.

Responsibilities

Lead the end-to-end planning and execution of data migration activities

Ensure data is accurate, complete, and ready for use in the target system

Coordinate cross-functional migration teams across workstreams

Define the data migration approach, methodology and quality controls

Identify, assess and manage migration risks and issues

Ensure a smooth and reliable transition with minimal disruption

Report migration status and progress to senior stakeholders

Required Skills

Proven experience as a Data Migration Lead or Team Lead in large-scale enterprise programs

Strong knowledge of data migration methodology : extraction, transformation, cleansing, validation and loading

Experience coordinating cross-functional teams across multiple workstreams

Ability to define migration controls and risk management strategies

Experience working in S/4HANA or similar ERP migration programs (preferred)

Intermediate to advanced English — interviews and daily work conducted in English

Availability to work in UTC timezone (9:00 AM – 5:00 PM)
