Job summary

The Ward Law Group seeks a Data Migration Lead to coordinate the planning and execution of a critical data migration program within a global consulting context. You will lead cross-functional teams, define the migration approach and controls, and manage risks to ensure a smooth transition to the target system.

This 100% remote full-time role requires strong experience in data migration methodologies and ERP migrations (S/4HANA preferred).

Qualifications

• Experience as Data Migration Lead or Team Lead in large-scale enterprise programs.
• Strong knowledge of data migration methodology: extraction, transformation, cleansing, validation, loading.
• Experience coordinating cross-functional teams across multiple workstreams.
• Ability to define migration controls and risk management strategies.
• Experience with ERP migrations (S/4HANA or similar) preferred.
• Intermediate to advanced English; interviews conducted in English.
• Availability to work in UTC timezone (9:00 AM–5:00 PM).

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end planning and execution of data migration activities.
• Ensure data is accurate, complete, and ready for use in the target system.
• Coordinate cross-functional migration teams across workstreams.
• Define the data migration approach, methodology and quality controls.
• Identify, assess and manage migration risks and issues.
• Ensure a smooth and reliable transition with minimal disruption.
• Report migration status and progress to senior stakeholders.
