Job summary

Smartrecruiters, Inc. is seeking a Data Migration Lead to oversee planning and execution of a critical data migration program for a global client in the automotive sector.

You will coordinate cross-functional teams, define the migration approach and controls, and manage risks to ensure a smooth transition to the target system. Responsibilities include end-to-end migration planning, data validation, and reporting to senior stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Data Migration Lead or Team Lead in large-scale programs.
• Strong knowledge of data migration steps: extraction, transformation, cleansing, validation, loading.
• Experience coordinating cross-functional teams across multiple workstreams.
• Ability to define migration controls and risk management strategies.
• Experience with S/4HANA or similar ERP migration programs (preferred).
• Intermediate to advanced English; interviews and daily work in English.

• Lead end-to-end planning and execution of data migration activities.
• Ensure data is accurate, complete, and ready for use in the target system.
• Coordinate cross-functional migration teams across workstreams.
• Define the data migration approach, methodology and quality controls.
