Descripción del empleo

Moritz is an AI-native global law firm building the next generation of commercial legal infrastructure. We combine proprietary AI tooling with a curated network of senior commercial lawyers to deliver vetted contract work at a speed and price point that traditional firms cannot match.

We serve clients globally across Europe, the US, and Australia, with active expansion into new markets including public procurement work.

We believe great commercial law is high-stakes, high-volume, and overdue for re-engineering. We hire people who want to do the best work of their careers in a small, ambitious team.

Moritz has raised a $9M seed round from Y Combinator, 20VC, and 20+ unicorn founders — including the founders of Dropbox, Gusto, and Instacart.

The Role
  • Serve as co-counsel for Moritz's commercial and procurement legal work in Argentina: master services agreements, supply and distribution agreements, framework agreements, partnership and reseller contracts, and public procurement matters.
  • Lead the drafting, review, and negotiation of commercial contracts for clients ranging from startups to midsize and enterprise companies — on both the buy side and the sell side.
  • Advise clients on public procurement: tender preparation and review, bid compliance, framework agreements, contract award procedures, and challenge / remedies processes.
  • Draft and negotiate SLAs, pricing and payment schedules, liability and indemnity frameworks, warranties, and termination provisions.
  • If you accept work with a known SLA (ex: 24hr turnaround), you must commit to meeting that SLA.
What You'll Bring
  • 5+ years practising commercial or procurement law in private practice or in-house.
  • Deep familiarity with commercial contracting — services, supply, distribution, licensing, liability, indemnities, and termination.
  • Public procurement grounding. Experience with public tender processes and procurement regulation (EU procurement directives or local equivalents), ideally from both the bidder and contracting-authority perspective.
  • Strong negotiation instincts. You know which points move the deal and which are noise.
  • Commercial fluency. You can read a pricing model, understand the business behind the contract, and ask the right questions.
  • Qualifications. Active license and in good standing with the bar / law society of Argentina. Professional indemnity insurance maintained or willing to obtain in line with local requirements.
  • Work at the sharp end of high-volume commercial contracting — with AI tooling that removes the drudgery, not the judgment.
  • Flexible engagement: work with Moritz on a project or retainer basis alongside your existing practice.
  • Senior team, modern tooling, and clients who value speed and clarity.
  • Be part of a well-funded company (Y Combinator, 20VC, 20+ unicorn founders) building category-defining legal infrastructure.
