Job summary

Katapult Labs is seeking a Chief of Staff to act as an extension of the CEO, leading 3-4 client engagements simultaneously. You will embed with founders, map landscapes, and assemble dedicated teams to ship valuable, AI-driven products.

You’ll translate strategic conversations into tangible roadmaps, backlogs, and outcomes, guiding senior decisions with market-driven insights and data-led opportunities. You’ll work with founders to shape product architecture and business strategy, directing

Qualifications

• Founded and shipped at least one company (fundraising, building, selling, pivots).
• Experience wearing multiple hats: CEO, CTO, product lead, or similar across engineering, design, product, and go-to-market.
• Technical proficiency to direct AI-native engineering and challenge CEO-level assumptions.
• Systems thinker: hold product, market, channel, and business model simultaneously and make fast decisions.
• High EQ: build trust quickly with founders, read a room, give hard feedback without breaking relationships.
• Strong cultural fluency in US tech and startup ecosystems, with experience navigating American business environments.
• Based in Latin America.

Responsibilities

• Own 3-4 client engagements simultaneously as the strategic partner for each founder.
• Lead SWAT phases: embed with founders, map landscape, define fastest path to value.
• Assemble and lead custom cross-functional teams (engineers, designers, PMs) as needed.
• Translate founder strategy into product architecture, backlogs, and shipped outcomes.
• Connect market trends and data with founder vision to identify opportunities and recommendations.
• Direct AI-native engineering workflows and coach teams on AI co-creation.
