Job summary

Outlier is offering a flexible, freelance QA coder role to help AI models learn to code. You will review AI-generated code, rate model responses, and craft clear CS prompts. A Bachelor’s degree in CS and production code experience are preferred, with strong written and spoken English required.

Rates are up to $34/hour (USD) on a 1099 contract, with additional incentives depending on project needs and performance. Applicants from multiple countries in Latin America are eligible.

Qualifications

• Completed a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from a selective institution.
• Experience contributing to a live production codebase preferred.
• Ability to articulate complex concepts in written and spoken English with clarity.

Responsibilities

• Review AI-generated code: read through code produced by AI models and flag errors or quality issues using guidelines.
• Rate and rank model responses across key dimensions to improve outputs.
• Write computer science questions and prompts to challenge AI models and push coding ability.
