Job summary

Jeeves is a global fintech platform enabling cross-border payments and spend management. This AI Engineer role focuses on building end-to-end AI workflows for finance processes, from invoice extraction to payment posting, with human-in-the-loop and strong production guarantees.

You will design agentic systems, retrieval and RAG components, and monitor performance with dashboards, while collaborating with product, backend, and customer finance teams.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• 2+ years building and operating LLM/AI-powered systems in production.
• Experience shipping LLM-powered applications with APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, or similar).
• Experience designing agentic or multi-step AI workflows (tool use, orchestration, RAG) or using vector databases.
• Strong proficiency in Python and backend fundamentals.

Responsibilities

• Own AI workflows end-to-end from problem definition through production and ongoing improvement.
• Design agentic and LLM-based systems combining extraction, retrieval, reasoning, and tools with human-in-the-loop points.
• Write design docs and set build-vs-buy choices and success metrics for each workflow.
• Build production-grade LLM pipelines with prompt design, validation, and monitoring.
• Collaborate with Product, Backend Engineering, and customers' finance teams.
